I first met this wonderful family in December 2009. I am a photographer with the volunteer organisation Heartfelt, Giving the Gift of Photographic Memories. Scott and Carlyns beautiful baby daughter Charli was very sick and I photographed her together with her big brother Kade, twin sister Lylah and mum and dad at the Melbourne Zoo. I was thankful to be able to provide these photos to the family as wonderful memories of their time with their gorgeous Charli.
Heartfelt held an exhibition earlier this year and it was lovely to catch up with Scott and Carlyn and their families on opening night. The exhibition is stunning, full of love, inspirational stories and absolutely beautiful photos of Heartfelt families. I am quite sure there was not a dry eye in the gallery as some brave families spoke of their children and their journeys. Charli’s story panel is below.

I was thrilled to hear from Carlyn and Scott recently with the news that they have welcomed another beautiful baby girl to their family, their 4th child, Mila. We met up on a sunny Sunday afternoon and spent a lovely few hours together. It was such a pleasure to photograph them again. They are an amazing young family, fantastic parents, full of fun and joy and bravery. Thankyou guys for allowing me to photograph your family again! I hope you enjoy your photos.
